D&T in Year 8

In Year 8 all students take Design & Technology, normally in sets of less than 16. The timetable allocation is two 55 minute periods per two week cycle.

During this year a further two projects are undertaken, continuing the aims of year 7 to build a broader foundation on which future work is based.

Work is marked frequently and in accordance with the departmental marking scheme; these marks form the basis of regular school wide tracking grades.
